About
We build the tools we wished we had.
Tracewell started as a notebook of failed agent runs. It is now the console a few hundred teams open before they ship.
An agent you cannot read is an agent you cannot trust. We make the work of agents legible, testable and reversible.
01
How we work
Three rules we do not break.
01
Show the work
Every number in the console links to the span it came from. If we cannot show it, we do not show it.
02
Be boring about safety
Redaction, retention and rollbacks are defaults, not settings you find in month six.
03
Charge for what costs us
Runs cost money to store. Teammates do not. Pricing follows cost.
02
Milestones
Three years, in four lines.
2023
The first trace
A notebook, a retry loop and a waterfall chart that explained a week of lost money.
2024
Evals ship
Cases, rubrics and a pass rate. The first customer stops deploying on Fridays.
2025
Deploy gates
A version ships only if its evals clear the bar. Rollbacks become one click.
2026
Twelve million runs a month
A new console, a self-hosted collector and a team of six that still answers support itself.
03
The team
Six people, one console.

Come see how it works.
Open the console on your own runs. We will be here if something looks wrong.
